A bit thicker underneath than the socks I normally play in. I like it, especially under the front of my foot.

Didn’t have to pull them up during the game. That was my main problem with the old ones.

Usually get a small blister on one toe after a longer session. Didn’t this time. Only one session though, so a bit early to say.

They look quite thick in the photos so I thought they might be too warm. Actually felt fine playing indoors. Haven’t worn them outside on a hot day yet.

I’ve had padded socks that felt thick everywhere. These have less material over the top of the foot, which I prefer.

They hug the middle of my foot more than my normal socks. That’s probably the part I like most.

These have ended up in my everyday sock drawer. I like a slightly thicker sock with sneakers.

CourtMatrix™ Low

7 zones. Engineered for padel.

Padel is sprints, hard stops and sharp cuts for 90 minutes. CourtMatrix™ Low is engineered in 7 zones for exactly that, and cut low for hot courts. ShockRidge™ impact zones, 2x thicker under the forefoot and heel, absorb the shock of every hard stop. An ultra-padded toe box and a HeelLock™ cushion cup protect the spots where the shoe rubs. ArchBand™ compression holds the arch, AirVent™ 360 mesh releases the heat, and a padded heel tab keeps the shoe collar off your skin.

Built for padel, how is it better: 2x thicker impact zones, zoned anti-blister cushioning, 360° airflow mesh. A player on a courtside bench in the white Low socks

The pinch test

Pinch it.

That's 2x thicker cushioning: ShockRidge™ impact zones under every hard stop and a padded heel tab at the collar. A thin ankle sock has nothing to pinch.

“My usual socks are quite thin and I can feel more of the inside of the shoe with those.”

★★★★★Megan W.
A white CourtMatrix Low sock inside a padel shoe, the padded heel tab rising above the shoe collar
Why normal socks fail on court

You bought $150 padel shoes. Then you played in $2 ankle socks.

Padel isn't a straight-line sport. Every rally is a sprint, a hard stop and a sharp cut to the side. Thin ankle socks give you nothing under the stop. They rub at the toes and the heel, slip down under your heel and soak through by the second set.

  • Feet that are done before the third set
  • Nothing under your foot on a hard stop
  • The shoe collar rubbing the back of your heel
  • Hot, sweat-soaked feet by the second set
  • Ankle socks that slip down under your heel

Most of that starts with the sock.

So CourtMatrix™ Low is engineered in 7 zones: 2x thicker where you stop, padded where the shoe rubs, supported under the arch, open where you sweat.

ShockRidge™ Impact Zones + Ultra-Padded Toe Box close-up
2x thicker cushioning · anti-blister

ShockRidge™ Impact Zones + Ultra-Padded Toe Box

ShockRidge™ impact zones are 2x thicker under the forefoot and heel, engineered to absorb the shock of every hard stop. Up front, an ultra-padded toe box gives anti-blister protection where toes hit the shoe. Pinch it.

“A bit thicker underneath than the socks I normally play in. I like it, especially under the front of my foot.”

HeelLock™ Cushion Cup + ArchBand™ Compression close-up
Absorbs impact · targeted arch support

HeelLock™ Cushion Cup + ArchBand™ Compression

The HeelLock™ cushion cup absorbs impact and locks the heel. Beside it, ArchBand™ compression gives targeted arch support, for less foot fatigue in the third set.

“They hug the middle of my foot more than my normal socks.”

★★★★★Nathan P.
AirVent™ 360 Mesh + Ribbed Flex Zone close-up
Maximum airflow · dynamic stretch

AirVent™ 360 Mesh + Ribbed Flex Zone

AirVent™ 360 mesh wraps the midfoot, on top, on the sides and under the arch, for maximum airflow and rapid heat release. On top of the foot, the ribbed flex zone gives dynamic stretch and unrestricted movement.

Padded Heel Tab close-up
Anti-rub collar protection

Padded Heel Tab

A thick padded tab rises above the shoe collar at the back of your heel. That is anti-rub collar protection: the collar rubs the tab, not your skin. It also keeps the sock up on your heel.

Players say

The padding under the foot comes up most, and that the socks stay up and stay in place. Several people also wear them for walking and every day. A few found them thick or snug in tighter shoes, and some found them warm for a full day.

Quite a close fit

Wasn’t sure when I first put them on as they felt tight around the middle. Fine once my shoes were on. Plenty of room at the toes.

Questions players ask

Which size should I get?

Go by your shoe size: S for EU 31-38, M for EU 39-44, L for EU 45-50.S for US men up to 6.5, M for men 7-11, L for men 11.5-15. Women: S up to 8, M 8.5-12.5, L 13+. Between sizes, go one up.

Do they feel tight?

Snug, on purpose. ArchBand™ compression holds your arch, so your foot feels supported from the first point. Between sizes? Go one up.

Are these grip socks?

Not the rubber-dot kind. The hold is in the fit: ArchBand™ compression supports the arch and the HeelLock™ cushion cup locks the heel, so the sock stays where you put it on hard stops.

Will they slip down into my shoe?

That's what the padded heel tab is for. It rises above the shoe collar and holds the sock up on your heel, and the HeelLock™ cushion cup locks the heel on hard stops.

Will they fit in my padel shoes?

In most, yes. The cushioning is 2x thicker in the impact zones and thinner in the mesh on top. If your padel shoes already feel tight, loosen the laces a notch or go one size up.

Will these stop blisters?

They are built against what causes them on court: the shoe rubbing the same spots for 90 minutes. An ultra-padded toe box, a HeelLock™ cushion cup and a padded heel tab put zoned anti-blister cushioning exactly there. Every foot is different, which is why you get 60 days to play in them.

My feet hurt after long matches. Will these help?

A lot of that ache is pounding: hundreds of hard stops and landings on a hard court. ShockRidge™ impact zones are 2x thicker to absorb the shock of every one, and ArchBand™ compression supports your arch, for less foot fatigue in the third set. If the pain sits in your arch or heel, add ArchCore™ insoles for a firm 35 mm (1.4 in) arch under your foot.

What about the sand?

The Low leaves your ankle bare, so on sandy courts some sand can get in over the top. If your courts are sandy, take the Crew: it covers the ankle.

How do I keep white socks white?

Shake out the sand or court dust after you play, wash inside out at 40°C (104°F) and skip the softener so the terry stays springy.

How many pairs do I need?

If you play two or three times a week, take 9 pairs. That is a fresh pair for every match between washes.

Can I mix Low and Crew?

Yes. Pick 6 or 9 pairs and choose all one height or mix Crew and Low. The more pairs you take, the less each pair costs.

What if they don't work for me?

You have 60 days. Play in them, and if they don't feel right on court, we refund you.
